Set aside the right budget
The principal participation fee is RM3,000. Keep the deposit, property purchase and other application or relocation costs separate in your financial plan.
Choose a home for the long term
A residence costing at least RM1 million is required after approval. A ten-year restriction on sale applies, with a higher-value upgrade exception.
Longer term, not work permission
Gold does not permit career or business/investment activities under its published category rules. Its longer term should not be mistaken for Platinum’s permissions.

Yes. The official page states that pass validity depends on passport validity; an earlier passport expiry requires pass renewal.
Up to 50% after approval for specified property, education, medical and tourism spending, subject to the withdrawal process.
Bring your intended home budget and planning horizon. Ask whether the longer term justifies the additional commitment for your household.
